DEPTH MEASURE MICROSCOPE (DMM)

This particular portable optical microscope is able to perform linear and depth measurements (Z axis) with centesimal precision.
Thanks to its robust aluminum stand, a very high intensity light source and a micrometric comparator, it is possible to focus two different plans and read directly on the comparator the difference between them.
The Led light source with variable intensity can be fed by the power grid, through a rechargeable lithium battery or a USB port of the PC, thank to the endowment accessories.
Naturally the measurements precision on the "Z" axis depends from the used objective, as for example with a 300X objective it will be possible to discriminate visually also 1/100 mm.
The DMM is available in versions 20-40-60-100-150-200-300X, but additional objectives with magnetic attack are available, with relative eyepiece and metric or inch scale; they can be easy exchanged with those ones in endowment.
The choice of the most suitable version depends from the type of the use and the repeatability and precision that you want obtain in linear and depth measurements.
So, for example, with the DMM 100X the user will be able to perform linear measurements with approximations of 0.01 mm (0.0005") in a field of view of 1.2 mm, and he will be able to rely on a precision of 0.05 mm in "Z" axis measurement. If you wish to have major precision, it will be necessary to opt for example on the DMM 300X (field of view of 0.4 mm, 0.001 mm of precision in the linear measurements and 0.01 mm on "Z" axis).
A particular 1,3Mpx USB mini camera is also available with relative software (VIDEO VIEW light or VIDEO VIEW basic) that makes the DMM more interesting in the different production fields.
It will be possible to use the DMM both in optic and video version, passing from one version to the other in less than a minute.
The possibility to use these microscopes also in video connecting to a PC through an USB will allow to capture images, compare them, make measurements, films, etc, besides the creation of personalized linear measures wire nets for divisions number and colours is an important quality of our VIDEO VIEW software.
